United States Embassy in Rabat

Following a successful collaboration on the construction of the U.S. Embassy in Tunisia, our partner BL HARBERT entrusted us with the civil engineering works for the American Embassy in Morocco. The project includes the construction of the main building with a covered area of 17,000 m², as well as two semi-underground parking structures totaling 11,000 m².

Scope of Work:
  • - Execution of 200,000 m³ of preparatory excavation
  • - Pouring of 26,000 m³ of reinforced concrete for structures
  • - Installation of 3,600 tons of steel in the structures
Project Specificities:
  • - The greatest challenge was maintaining the retaining walls of excavations adjacent to neighboring buildings, which was overcome using CFA pile techniques, the installation of anchor rods, and the application of shotcrete
  • - The works were delivered one month ahead of the projected schedule, to the full satisfaction of the client
