Construction of a 400 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant in Ghannouch - Gabes

This contract concerns the execution of civil engineering works for the Ghannouch combined cycle power plant (1 x 400 MW). These works include the foundations for the turbines (alternator, steam, and gas), as well as the construction of an electrical building, utilities building, feed tank, transformers, recovery boiler, pumping station, tanks, roadways, and various networks.

Project Specificity:

A major challenge of the project was the strong commitment to comply with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) rules as a top priority. The aim was to achieve exemplary control of safety and environmental aspects during the construction of the power plant, with the ultimate goal of "zero accidents"—ensuring hygiene, safety, and well-being of all individuals on site, and preventing any bodily or material damage.
