FIRST PHASE OF THE RAPID RAIL NETWORK OF GREATER TUNIS – LOT NO. 3 – STATION BUILDINGS LINE D

Lot No. 3 of the first phase of the Rapid Rail Network (RFR) project in Greater Tunis, specifically for Line D, involves the construction of buildings for the 08 stations on this line connecting Tunis to Gobaa. This lot includes the development of infrastructure for passenger services such as platforms, ticket offices, and waiting areas. It is a key component of the overall RFR project, aimed at modernizing public transport in Greater Tunis by offering a fast, high-capacity alternative to reduce traffic congestion.

Scope of works:
  • - Total covered area of the 8 stations: 16 000 m²
  • - Total covered area of platform shelters: 6 000 m²
  • - Study and execution of works for the construction of the eight (8) stations, including:

    • *External works (VRD)
    • *Fluid networks
    • *Electricity
    • *Elevators
    • *Fire safety systems
    • *Telephony
    • *Public address systems
    • *Surveillance
Project specifics:
  • - Simultaneous work on 8 separate sites within an active railway zone (maintaining 2 operational tracks).
  • - Strict management required for works involving complex interactions with other lots (Civil Engineering, External Works, Systems, etc.).
  • - Use of appropriate construction methods such as auxiliary decks and Lutetian-type retaining walls.
  • - Strict controls in terms of safety, hygiene, and environment.
