LEAR COPORATION - TCS

The Lear Corporation TCS project is a new, state-of-the-art production facility belonging to the American group Lear Corporation, a world leader in automotive equipment. Located in Menzel Bourguiba, this plant specializes in the manufacturing and assembly of Thermal Comfort Systems, including advanced heating, ventilation, and massage solutions for automotive seats. With a covered area of ​​32,050 m², the site incorporates high-precision infrastructure and specific technical installations to meet the most demanding technological standards of the global automotive industry.

Scope of work:
  • This project, which represents a major expansion of the group's production capacity, was carried out by SBF as a turnkey project, comprising the following packages:
  • - Civil Engineering & Finishing Works: Structural works including high-precision infrastructure, a structure combining a prefabricated concrete frame and a steel frame, as well as the installation of hollow-core slabs. This package also includes a reinforced industrial slab to support the production lines for electronic and thermal components.
  • - Fluids & Process: Installation of specialized plumbing systems, as well as high-performance heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions
  • - Electricity & Intelligent Systems: Implementation of a complete electrical infrastructure (high/low voltage power supply, lighting) and advanced security systems. This package covers the specific energy requirements for test benches and electronic assembly units.
  • - Fire Safety (Sprinkler): Installation of an automatic fire suppression system of the Sprinkler type covering the entire 32,050 m², guaranteeing optimal protection of personnel and high-tech equipment.
