Extension of "El Mourouj-Tunis" Light Rail

Carried out, in partnership with the French company Alstom, SBF was responsible for the civil engineering works and track laying and Alstom took in charge the electromechanical, energy and overhead power lines tasks. Construction of 6,700 ml of double track railways, 11 passenger stations from 75 to 80 ml of length, a metro-bus connection station, bus parking, car parking and other buildings. The structure of the track is in RI60 grooved rails placed on wooden sleepers set on ballast and embedded over its entire height in a screed in unreinforced vibrated concrete.
