The purpose of the project is to execute works completion of Bouassida interchange located at the intersection of the ring road at km4 and the RN1 at PK265 in the city of Sfax.
The works include:
Ring road
The execution of two adjacent structures crossing the railway line of the National Railways Company and RN1 road, each of the two structures consists of continuous reinforced concrete slab aprons with 90cm thick, the piles consist of reinforced concrete wall with rounded edges on a concrete footing. The foundations are deep, each support is enriched with a row of piles with 1,000 mm diameter.
Pathways
The construction of two pathways for movements between Sfax – Mahdia and Mahdia – Tunis, each of the two pathways consists of three continuous reinforced concrete slab aprons with 70cm thick, the piles consist of reinforced concrete wall with rounded edges on a concrete footing. The foundations are deep, each support is enriched with a row of piles with 1,000 mm diameter.
