City of Culture of Tunis

SBF has built the largest cultural building in Tunisia, for the benefit of the Ministry of Culture, with a covered area of 49,000 m², consisting in several cultural spaces, with three theaters (opera theater with 1,800 seats , regional theater with 700 seats and theater for young creators with 300 seats), exhibition spaces, and spaces for rehearsals, two cinemas (350 and 150 seats), an auditorium with 100 seats, a national museum for modern and contemporary arts, a national museum of puppetry art, a house of the novel, a house of poetry, a translation institute and other cultural spaces.

SBF has demonstrated, once again, the high performance of Tunisian companies in implementing complex projects and successfully met the challenge following the suspension of work executed by the foreign company for more than 6 years, and following various reminders of the call for tenders for the completion of the city of culture of Tunis which was also a commercial challenge for SBF.

The completion project of the city of culture is an outstanding achievement for a Tunisian company with these large areas of work, important technical coordination of work between fifty subcontractors of various and important activities such as tasks relating to scenography, acoustics, electricity , fluid, fire safety, coating,…
